Unbelievably good dental work for our rescue dog! I am shocked to see completely white, tartarless teeth and the absence of terrible breath after this cleaning and one extraction. When we first adopted him almost three years ago, we had dental service done at another veterinary service near the coast that didn't seem to change any of these issues, so I expected similar outwardly obvious results. I am so pleased with the work of this great staff and great veterinary clinic. Our valley is so fortunate to have them here!

We took our pup in & the staff and doctor are literal angels on earth, huge hearts and skilled hands. I cannot say enough what they have done for our family and we will never be able to thank them in the way they deserve. The kindest, most supportive, and most talented vet we could hope for. I have absolutely loved my experiences with these folks and Dr. Shawn. They are kind and understanding. They had to deal with my big pain in the butt and he did great for his neutering and vaccines..... I love that they have a site where you can order your flea and tick and tick as well as heartworm meds, and not have to drive all the way in, (which is an hour for me) and they sell lupine collars and leashes, and it's a very comfortable atmosphere.... they have beautiful portraits of their pets and clients, and occasionally, you even get to meet those in the portraits!!

Carrabassett is the absolute best vet in the area and I couldn’t imagine managing our dogs’ health without them. We have 9 small dogs — something extremely uncommon in the mountains of Maine (and really anywhere nearby) and several of them have chronic illnesses (seizures, dementia, Cushings). Dr. Benson and Dr. Shawn are the absolute best at what they do (Dr. Tulli too!!!). They handle our dogs with care, with love and with concern *always* and we’ve been with them for over a decade. Just this past week, they helped our eldest cross the rainbow bridge and the entire staff cared for her like she was their own. We love them. We love their dedication. We love their expertise. We love how hard they work to keep our babies happy. ♥️

They where amazing when our 15yr old bull boxer had an abdominal bleed, they were very professional, honest and caring. Dr. Benson was blunt about her possible outcome and understood that where not rich but wanted the best for her we could afford. His care plan for us saved her life. Where beyond grateful for the extra time they gave us with our old lady!

I’m so thankful for the staff and expertise at this clinic. My pup had her first little accident and they were able to accommodate us during a snowstorm. I was thinking of taking her here for regular veterinary care, anyways, and now it is a no-brainer that I will choose them. Thank you, Dr. Shawn!

We have an older yorkie with some health problems and Carrabassett Vet Clinic went above and beyond to help us get some medication that he desperately needed. They stayed in touch with us throughout the process and we couldn’t be more appreciative of their efforts. Thank you staff and vets for taking such good care of our little guy!

The staff here is kind & caring! Love the veterinarians. We've brought puppies, dogs, & my cat has recently become a patient. They've been so accommodating and have fit us in quickly in emergencies. We are so thankful for all you've done to take of our animals! Highly recommend this place.

I had a very good first-time experience. They helped me get my two dogs’ records from my old vets, which I had been unsuccessful doing, and the staff was warm and knowledgeable. They also advised me on a way to get money back on medications. Good place to bring pets.

This is the best vet I've ever been to. The vets have amazing hearts and you can tell they care so much about your fur baby's well-being. Great attitudes and just such a huge help!

The vets at Carrabassett have taken great care of our dogs and cats. Compassionate and highly competent. I recommend this practice highly. We have three-legged English Cream who requires special attention.

My first visit and I received answers and options for my boy that I was previous told were not available. Employees were very friendly and kind. Prices are about the same so far. Carrabassett Vet Services has a great location and animal clinic! I'm sooo happy to have found them.
